Us, at Casabella wineries
Walking through our rows of vines in Ziano Piacentino, the view stretches across the entire Tidone Valley. Here, for more than a century, we have been cultivating the most renowned grape varieties in the winemaking tradition, the first step in a production that we personally follow, from the bunch to the bottle.
The journey continues to Castell’Arquato, in the Arda valley, where the production and bottling plant is located, flanked by the wine shop and dedicated to the sale and tasting of wines. The Cantina embraces and proudly supports the territory; our grapes are joined by those conferred by over 150 local vine growers, to whom we provide agronomic consultancy.
The variety of our offer is the result of the properties of the land, which is naturally suited to viticulture. We cultivate indigenous grape varieties that give birth to unique DOC wines, such as Ortrugo, Malvasia, Bonarda and Gutturnio. Growing means evolving, and we do this by adopting technologies and incorporating skills that are useful for experimenting with new techniques in the various stages of vinification and ageing.
Cantine Casabella’s strength is to convey the richness of the Piacenza valleys in wines that best represent them in Italy and abroad.
